Privacy
A timeline of your life is personal, so here is exactly what happens to it.
Without an account
Your missions stay in your browser's local storage on this device. They are not sent anywhere.
If you sign in with Google
- Google tells MissionSlider your account ID, name and email address. Your name and email are kept in a signed cookie on your device and are used to show who is signed in. They are not stored in a database.
- Your missions and notes are stored on Cloudflare so they can reach your other devices. They sit under a key derived from your account ID, not under your name or email.
- Missions are not end-to-end encrypted, so treat notes as you would any other cloud service and avoid putting passwords in them.
Cookies
MissionSlider only uses the cookies needed for sign-in. There is no advertising or analytics code in the app, and your data is not sold or shared.
Keeping and deleting your data
Open Backup at the bottom of the timeline to save everything to a file, or to delete all your missions. Deleting removes them from your browser and, if you are signed in, from your account and other devices. A list of deleted mission IDs and times is kept so deleted missions do not reappear; it contains no titles or notes. Signing out leaves your missions in that browser until you clear them.
